When it comes to applying for the scholarship, there are certain qualifications that applicants must meet to be considered for this valuable opportunity. These qualifications may include:
  • Students from all nationalities can apply.
  • Students who have completed grade 5, grade 8, or grade 10 in AY 2024-25 can apply.
  • Students currently enroled at RAK Academy or other schools.

Criteria

Students granted the scholarship are required to meet the below requirements to keep the scholarship until grade 12.

Grade 6 to 8

Minimum of Grade 5 in English, Mathematics, and Science

GCSE

Minimum of a Grade 4 in English, Mathematics and Science

A Level

Minimum of a Grade B in all subjects

IB Diploma

Minimum of a Grade 5 in all subjects

Assessment Details

CAT4 is a diagnostic assessment that is used to help students and teachers (RAKA staff) understand how they learn and what their academic potential might be (ability). CAT4 assesses how students think in areas that are known to make a difference in learning.
Tasks involve thinking about shapes and patterns (Non-Verbal Reasoning), words (Verbal Reasoning), and numbers (Quantitative Reasoning), and some questions are answered by mentally generating and transforming images (Spatial Ability).
